- Lecturer in Accounting & Finance, University of Stirling
My research sits at the intersection of personal finance and public sector accountability. I study how households make financial decisions—covering risk tolerance, savings goals and portfolio choices—as well as how public institutions use accounting, audit and governance reforms to tackle corruption. My recent work also examines how fiscal decentralisation affects regional inequality and household welfare.
