Frederic Isingizwe

Dr Frederic Isingizwe holds higher education qualifications in Physics, Mathematical Sciences and Electronic Engineering. He has a PhD in Electronics from Stellenbosch University, where he has been involved in research on superconductors and bio-sensors development, applied spectroscopy and biosystems modelling.
He has published various research papers on post-harvest fruit quality evaluation and on the adoption of artificial intelligence in horticultural sector in peer-reviewed journals.

His current research focus is on strengthening food systems towards achieving food security in Africa and globally, using data-driven technologies.
