Frances is a Group Leader in Urban and Financial Geography at the University of Zurich, and a Senior Scientist in the Social, Cultural and Urban Geography Group. Prior to this, she was the Maragret Tyler Fellow in Geography at Girton College, the University of Cambridge and a Research Fellow on the 'What is Governed in Cities' ESRC funded project at the Bartlett School of Planning, London. Her previous research was a comparative project which analysed the role of real estate developers in Johannesburg and London.
