I am an Associate Head and Programme Lead with a background in public health, microbiology, and epidemiology. My career began in NHS and Public Health England laboratory services, including deployment during the West Africa Ebola outbreak, before moving into higher education.

Now working in academic leadership, I focus on programme development, staff support, and making systems work more effectively. My approach is practical and data-informed, shaped by experience of both clinical and academic environments.

Alongside this, I am completing a PhD in epidemiology examining antimicrobial resistance in community-acquired infections. My research reflects my wider interest in work that connects clinical practice, population health, and real-world decision-making.
