(he/him)

I am a social scientist researching and publishing on international climate politics. My PhD research focuses on the global discourse and actor networks behind climate adaptation for cities which are existentially threatened by sea-level rise. I want to know how the future for these 'sinking cities' is imagined, where those imaginaries come from, how they are circulated globally, by whom, and with what impacts on policy outcomes. My wider research interests include power and domination in international climate politics, the political economy of climate politics, and the interface of digitalisation and sustainability. I hold a BA in Political Science from the University of Hamburg and an MSc in Global Politics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
