After years of teaching at Tucuman University he moved to Porto Alegre, southern Brazil as a postdoctoral researcher at the Pontificia Universidad do Rio Grande do Sul, for four years. He has been based in South Africa for the past ten years and now considers himself at home (although without forgetting his South American roots). Besides palaeontology he enjoys listening to almost every kind of music. From time to time he grabs the guitar to play some folkloric songs from Argentina.
