Fergus Green is an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science and School of Public Policy at University College London and an Honorary Senior Fellow at the Melbourne Law School, University of Melbourne. Fergus’ research is focused on questions of justice, politics, law and governance that arise in the transition to a low-carbon economy. He draws on training in political theory, political economy and law, as well as five years' professional experience as a lawyer and policy analyst. He received his undergraduate degrees in law and arts (political science) from the University of Melbourne, masters and PhD from the London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE) and undertook postdoctoral research at Utrecht University and the LSE, before joining UCL in 2021.
