Federica Guccini

Federica Guccini is a research associate in the Immigration knowledge area at The Conference Board of Canada where she offers evidence-based insights on Canadian immigration challenges to support policymakers, service providers, and community leaders in their decision-making. Her areas of expertise are multilingualism, linguistic and cultural diversity, and community-building.

She previous held a postdoctoral position in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Western University and taught in the Anthropology department. Federica received her Ph.D. in Anthropology and a collaborative specialization in Migration and Ethnic Relations from Western University in December 2022. Her dissertation project was funded by a Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship.
