Dr Farooq Sher is an academic and researcher in chemical and environmental engineering, specialising in renewable energy technologies, carbon capture, utilisation and storage, clean technologies, and the wider energy transition to Net Zero. He holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Nottingham, UK. His work focuses on practical and scalable solutions for decarbonisation, including hydrogen, bioenergy, sustainable energy systems, and industrial emissions reduction. In addition to his academic research, he has also served as editor of books in his field, contributing to the development and dissemination of knowledge in energy, engineering, and clean technology.
