I study how work is organized and how those arrangements affect workers, organizations and society. My research looks at job quality, employment relations, workplace inequality, disability and accessibility, care work and organizational change. I'm particularly interested in how organizations respond to social challenges, and in why policies or practices that work well for some groups can create barriers or unintended consequences for others.
