• Senior Research Fellow, Social Research Institute, UCL

My research is psychosocial and focuses on social inequality, migration, childhood, and subjectivity.

I am currently co-leading an ESRC-funded research project with Rachel Rosen entitled 'Social reproduction in the shadows: Making lives with 'no recourse to public funds' (NRPF)' (2023-2027).

Reflecting my interdisciplinary background, my work draws on sociology, critical migration and border studies, psychoanalysis, and feminism. Methodologically, my research combines historical and critical textual analysis, ethnography, policy analysis, narrative and participatory approaches
