Estrella Luna-Diez

Dr Estrella Luna-Diez is an Associate Professor of Plant Pathology at the University of Birmingham, leading the MEMBRA project on tree memories for resilience and adaptation. Her research focuses on the molecular and epigenetic mechanisms of plant immunity and defence priming across crops and forest species. She integrates molecular biology, ecology and environmental factors to understand how plants maintain long-term resistance and adapt to changing conditions.
