My research area is media history and the emerging publics of online sociality. My first book is Letters, Postcards, Email: Technologies of Presence published by Routledge in 2010. Currently I am working on a co authored book entitled Grand Designs: Consumption and Sustainability in Property TV to be published by Palgrave. I am also writing a book for MIT about the everyday contexts of email use.
