I hold a doctorate from the Centre for the History of Science, Technology and Medicine, University of Manchester, which I undertook collaboratively with the Science and Industry Museum (Science Museum Group). I explored the history and heritage of Liverpool Road Station, the surviving terminus of the Liverpool and Manchester Railway, which opened in 1830. As 200th anniversary is due in 2030, I have been supporting Manchester Histories with their preparations for large scale community celebrations. I have a background in heritage and museums and I've lectured in cultural practices, as well as exploring creative health and wellbeing with the University as a Postdoc. Due to discovering my children's (and own) neurodivergence, I've have moved into an interdisciplinary research space, co-producing research with the autistic community for Autism@Manchester.
