Erik Steiner

I'm a second year Ph.D. student at York University working in Marketing. Prior to starting my degree, I completed a master of science in marketing and consumer studies at the university of guelph and I have 3 years work experience in the not-for-profit and cultural creative industries. My research and work experience focuses on the organization of creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship. For example, I worked with the Michael Jean Foundation to explore the support network for youth entrepreneurs in Ottawa, I am researching indigenous entrepreneurship on urban reserves with a professor at York University, and I worked in social media and community management for a recording studio and independent video game developer.
