Erich Wolff is a researcher and educator in the fields of climate adaptation and nature-based solutions with over a decade of experience leading various projects across Latin America, Europe and the Asia Pacific region.His research explores the social, political, ecological and cultural dimensions of climate adaptation projects across different contexts, including countries in Europe, Asia and Oceania. His work examine participatory methods applied to the design, implementation and mainstreaming of nature-based solutions and interrogate how communities on the ground can contribute to climate adaptation. Erich has published research articles in prestigious journals including Cities, Environmental Science and Policy and Nature Sustainability. He is interested in how community participation, citizen science and grassroots initiatives can reshape the relationship between researchers and communities in the process of managing climate change adaptation projects, with a focus in the global South.
