Emma Veale

As a researcher in academia, my main focus for over two decades has been the pharmacological and physiological regulation of mammalian ion channels and their role in the pathogenesis of disease. More recently I have branched into practice-based research with a focus on the role that pharmacists can play in disease detection (atrial fibrillation) and reducing opioid dependence following a surgical procedure.
