I am a PhD researcher in English Literature at the University of Bristol with an MA in Environmental Humanities. My research looks at peatlands as Gothic landscapes in literature, and spans from Beowulf to more contemporary stories. I am also the winner of the 2025 Penguin Michael Joseph Undiscovered Writers Prize with my forthcoming horror novel, The Hollow Saint.
