Emily is pursuing a doctorate in theological ethics at the University of St Andrews, focussing on developing a Christian ethic of informed consent for medical data donation. She also tutors modules on theology and medical ethics at St Andrews. Her research interests include theological views on the interplay of love and justice, informed consent, gestational ethics, and the criticism of principlism.
