- Postdoctoral Researcher in Remote Sensing Hydrology, Binghamton University, State University of New York
Emad is a Research Associate at the Department of Geological Sciences and Environmental Studies, State University of New York at Binghamton (Binghamton University). He has a Ph.D. degree in water resources from the University of Oklahoma, May 2017. His research interests are in satellite and in-site remote sensing hydrology, water resources assessment, monitoring, and modelling. His research utilises geospatial tools including "statistics, analysis, and modelling" to: 1- advance science and technology in water resources monitoring and assessment, address the human-climate-water-food-nexus in large/transboundary water systems. 2- Understand how the terrestrial water storage evolves in space and time in response to complex interactions among various hydroclimatic and anthropogenic processes. and 3- explore how the coupled natural-human interactions control the long-term hydroclimatic patterns and variabilities. He also teaches numerous courses in remote sensing, GIS applications, water resources, hydrology, and geospatial statistics and analysis.
