I have extensive experience across complex post-secondary environments where I bring a sustained commitment to academic excellence, student success, and institutional stewardship, with particular interest in supporting students and educators as they contribute to socially equitable and sustainable programs. While serving in senior leadership, I have remained actively engaged in teaching and research, ensuring my work is grounded in lived academic practice. Currently Dean of a School of Education and Health, I provide innovative leadership across distinct disciplinary cultures, overseeing a large academic portfolio and working collaboratively across multiple unions. My leadership has advanced academic planning, program renewal, faculty recruitment, equity-focused hiring and mentoring, accreditation, and new program development. A curriculum scholar informed by critical and reflexive methodologies, my research spans lived curriculum, teacher and learner identity, re/humanization of education, and practitioner and praxis development. I am the Principal Investigator on SSHRC-funded research examining international student experiences in Canadian post-secondary education, work that informs my leadership in recruitment, retention, and belonging.
