Ellie is a chronic disease epidemiologist with expertise in large-scale linked data analysis and a particular interest in cardiovascular disease epidemiology, risk prediction and prevention. She is a Team Head of Cardiovascular Disease Prevention at the QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute, an Honorary Senior Research Fellow at the University of Queensland and a Visiting Fellow at the Australian National University and University of Cambridge. She received her PhD in epidemiology and population health from the Australian National University in 2015.
