Hi! I am a Ph.D. student looking into the relationship between spider silk fiber morphology and web architecture, and how that relates to spiders' prey capture abilities. I use biomaterials testing to examine the tensile and flexural strength of these silks as well as molecular techniques to look for differences in the silk sequences.
