Elizabeth Ellison

I am oceanographer with in interest in understanding how ocean physics impacts biogeochemical cycles in the ocean, including air sea carbon exchange and phytoplankton productivity.
I am currently a Postdoctoral fellow at the Australian National University.I completed a PhD at Imperial College London where my research focussed on the role of small-scale vertical turbulent mixing in the Southern Ocean on biogeochemical cycles. Prior to completing my PhD, I obtained a M.Sc in Oceanography from the National Oceanography Centre at the University of Southampton and a B.Sc in Natural Sciences from Durham University.
