I am an Associate Professor of Higher Education at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) at the University of Toronto and hold the Tier 2 Canada Research Chair in Higher Education for Sustainable Global Development. I study how global trends affect national higher education policies, institutional practices, and students’ lives. My current research agenda focuses on a number of global trends: privatization, internationalization and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
