Elizabeth Sharrow (Ph.D & M.P.P.) is Professor of Public Policy and History at the University of Massachusetts Amherst School of Public Policy, and Director of Faculty Research at the UMass Institute for Social Science Research. Sharrow's first book with James Druckman, Equality Unfulfilled: How Title IX's Policy Design Undermines Change to College Sports (Cambridge University Press, 2023), was awarded the 2024 Gladys Kammerer Award for the best book on US national policy from the American Political Science Association, and the 2024 Outstanding Book Award from the Society of Professors of Education in the American Educational Research Association. She has published research on the politics of fatherhood, and the politics of college sport in the United States.
