- Doctoral candidate and lecturer, L’Université d’Ottawa/University of Ottawa
I am a PhD candidate in Political Science, pursuing a joint PhD in Philosophy, with a focus on the lived experiences of trauma caused by gender-based violence. My research explores the resilience and resistance mechanisms that can emerge in response to such trauma. Grounded in a phenomenological and feminist approach, my work sits at the intersection of critical psychiatry (Mad Studies), feminist phenomenology, and political theories of violence.
I have organized several conferences on critical political thought and have taught a course on feminist theories in international relations. I am always eager to share my research interests and contribute to making trauma studies more accessible to everyone.
