Dwi Novitasari

I have 10+ years of professional experience in renewable and sustainable energy development programs. I have been the Policy Strand associate of the UK-MENTARI Program since July 2023 and became the coordinator of Policy Strand in February 2025. The program focuses on energy transition in Indonesia. My work in UK-MENTARI, includes energy planning, battery costing, ancillary services in higher variable renewable energy penetration, and preparing regulations for hybrid systems. I'm also a researcher in the Centre for Energy Studies, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) since 2016, and have been involved in national and international projects, such as USAID, INDP, UNOPS, etc. I started my Ph.D program in Electrical Engineering at UGM in 2020 and became Ph.D candidate in 2021.
