Dr Will Cranwell is a Consultant Dermatologist and Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists, specialising in medical, surgical, cosmetic and laser dermatology. He is the founder and principal dermatologist at Kera Dermatology, Malvern East. He provides comprehensive care for skin, hair and nail conditions in both adults and children, with a focus on safe, natural and evidence-based outcomes.
Dr Cranwell graduated with Honours from Monash University and holds a Master of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. He completed dermatology training at major tertiary hospitals in Melbourne and undertook advanced international training at St John’s Institute of Dermatology in London through the Australasian College of Dermatologists Research Fellowship.
He has advanced expertise in procedural, cosmetic and laser dermatology and was awarded the Australasian College of Dermatologists Founders’ Medal for achieving the highest national result in the Procedural Fellowship Examinations. He has extensive experience in laser dermatology, including work at Australia’s largest laser clinic managing complex medical and aesthetic cases.
Dr Cranwell is a Faculty Member and accredited trainer for Teoxane and serves on the board of the Australasian Society of Cosmetic and Procedural Dermatologists. He is widely published, speaks regularly at conferences, participates in clinical trials, and is actively involved in medical education.
Dr Cranwell’s clinical focus is in comprehensive medical dermatology for adults and children, including skin cancer, acne, eczema, psoriasis, hair and scalp disorders, and complex inflammatory and autoimmune skin disease. He also has a major focus in laser dermatology and personally provides all laser treatments daily for his patient. He has undertaken extensive formal training across a wide range of laser and energy-based devices, enabling him to manage both medical and aesthetic laser indications with a high level of safety and precision. His laser practice is dermatologist-led, evidence-based and individually tailored to each patient.
