Dr Simone Willis

I am passionate about workplace wellbeing and helping employees thrive. My research considers stress and wellbeing in the performing arts, with a particularly focus on musicians. I am interested in psychology of stress, emotion, and wellbeing at work and in high performance situations.

I am also a Systematic Reviewer for the Specialist Unit for Review Evidence (SURE) at Cardiff University. I have experience in all aspects of the review process, from designing search strategies to writing reports and peer-reviewed academic journal articles. I work on evidence reviews in health and social care, including Medical Technology Evaluations and Health Technology Assessments (HTAs). I have worked on reviews for customers including the What Works Centre for Children’s Social Care, Centre for Homelessness Impact, Department for Education (UK), Welsh Government, and NICE.
