Dr Kyle L Murray

Kyle is a Senior Lecturer in Law at The City Law School, City St George's, University of London, UK.

His current research looks at the law's response to sexual consent in circumstances of deception, non-disclosure, or mistake, or where what happens goes outside the scope of what the complainant agreed to.

Also researches issues of contraceptive deceit/sabotage and its relevance to sexual offences, and bodily harm offences; and issues of so-called "gender fraud" in sexual offences.

His research has been published in leading academic journals, and has helped to shape the current CPS prosecution guidance in relation to consent and sex/gender.
