- Senior Lecturer and Rehabilitation Engineer, Flinders University
I have an undergraduate degree in Physics (Flinders University, 1992-1994) and a double degree in Life Sciences and Biomedical Engineering, with Honours (Flinders University, 1996-2000). After graduating I worked as a Rehabilitation Engineer in industry at Novita Children's Services for 9 years (2001-2010), before returning to Flinders to take up an academic appointment and to undertake a PhD in Rehabilitation Engineering. I completed my PhD in 2018.
In 2003 I was a Churchill Fellow (in the UK, Canada and the US), investigating models for rehabilitation engineering and assistive technology R&D and commercialisation, and in 2008 I was a Fulbright Professional Scholar in the US, investigating a novel intervention for children with cerebral palsy.
