Dr. Shaffer, PhD, CFCP/FCCS, is a scientist specializing in violence risk, adolescent offending, and financial crime. Based in British Columbia, Canada, she applies advanced statistical methods to develop evidence-based strategies for prevention, assessment, and management.
She holds a PhD in Forensic Psychology and Law from Simon Fraser University. She works as a Strategic Analyst within a Government of Canada intelligence environment, contributing to initiatives to address money laundering and terrorist financing. She is also an Adjunct Professor at Simon Fraser University and Founder of Shaffer Research and Statistical Consulting
