Anita is an Honorary Fellow of Melbourne Climate Futures at the University of Melbourne. She has spent the past 17 years advancing and promoting evidence-based approaches to climate and energy policy and regulation. Her work spans industry, government, and academia.
She is the Decarbonisation Lead at Climate Resource, a niche scientific climate consultancy. Prior to joining Climate Resource, Anita served as General Manager for Jobs and Supply Chain Policy at the Clean Energy Council, where she represented the national clean-energy industry on both the New South Wales Renewable Energy Sector Board and the Victorian Skills Authority. Earlier, she was Director of the University of Melbourne’s Climate and Energy College and Research Coordinator for the Australian–German Energy Transition Hub.
She currently serves as an independent board director of the Powering Skills Organisation, Australia’s Energy Jobs and Skills Council.
Anita holds an Engineering degree and a Master of Climate Change from the Australian National University, as well as a PhD in climate-engineering governance from the University of Melbourne.
