Doug Richardson

Doug is a Research Associate at the ARC Centre of Excellence for Climate Extremes, UNSW Sydney. He researches climate hazards, specialising in understanding their likelihoods of occurring, how these likelihoods may have changed over time, and in what causes them to occur. Doug completed his PhD in UK drought prediction at Newcastle University, UK, before undertaking a postdoctoral position at CSIRO in Hobart, Australia. He joined the Centre of Excellence in January 2023.
