Dorian Peters

Dorian is Assistant Professor in Ethical Design and Associate Director (Education) at the Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence at the University of Cambridge. She is also a Senior Research Associate at the Intellectual Forum, Jesus College Cambridge.

She is a human-computer interaction (HCI) and design researcher who specialises in digital wellbeing, the ethical design of AI systems and design for autonomy and learning. She has also worked for over a decade in participatory digital health and mental health across age groups with communities in the UK, Australia and Latin America.

Her books include Positive Computing: Technology for Wellbeing and Human Potential (MIT Press), and Interface Design for Learning (Pearson). She is a founding member of the editorial board of the SpringerNature journal, AI & Ethics.
