I hold a PhD in Economics from the University of York, UK. My research interests and expertise span financial economics, sustainable finance, climate finance, energy economics, and corporate finance. Leveraging a strong quantitative background, I analyse financial market dynamics to inform resilient investment strategies. My research has explored critical issues such as the UK’s under-investment puzzle and industrial strategy, energy market reforms, climate risk, and green finance, offering novel insights with real-world policy implications. I am dedicated to investigating various aspects of financial economics, including firm investment, intangibles, and the incorporation of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors in investment decisions.

Building on this foundation, my work continues to engage with complex questions at the intersection of finance, energy, and the broader economy. By examining how financial systems interact with policy challenges and market structures, I aim to generate insights that support effective decision-making and promote sustainable economic growth.
