Dominic Knight

Dr Dominic Knight is Lecturer in Media Law in the Discipline of Media and Communications at the University of Sydney. As well as teaching media law to undergraduate and postgraduate media students, he co-ordinates FASS4903, ABC Innovation Project, a work-integrated learning unit conducted under a research partnership with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.

Dominic is also a podcaster and radio presenter, currently hosting Saturday Breakfast on ABC Radio Sydney, and the Chaser Report podcast. In the past, he presented NSW/ACT Evenings and Friday Drive for the station.

He was one of the founders of the Chaser comedy team which produced a satirical newspaper from 1999-2004, and moved on to a number of satirical TV programmes for the ABC, including The Chaser's War On Everything and The Chaser's Media Circus. The team also presented radio programmes, including Radio Chaser, and several podcasts. They mounted several national stage tours.

Dominic has written opinion columns for the Sydney Morning Herald and The Guardian, among others. His books include the novels Disco Boy, Comrades (set at the University of Sydney), and Man vs Child, which was written for a Doctor of Arts thesis. His humour books include Strayapedia, Trumpedia, The 2020 Dictionary and The Dictionary of Terrible Ideas.
