Dominic Bui Viet is a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Sydney. He currently works in the Waste Transformation Research Hub, with a research focus on sustainable technologies for plastic wastes. His doctoral thesis, "Mechanistic Modelling and Parameter Optimisation of Polymer Wastes" involved the creation of a computational model describing the chemical pathways involved in polymer degradation via pyrolysis.
