Diego Guevara Beltran

I'm an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Arizona, where I direct the Social Psychology of Evolutionary Cooperation Interdependence and Emotions (SPECIEs) Lab. We investigate three key questions: Why do people cooperate? What are the proximate mechanisms underlying cooperation? What are the consequences of cooperation for risk management, social relationships, and well-being? And we do so employing survey, experimental, longitudinal, and field methods.
