Dick is Professor of Political Economy at the University of Sydney. His research is focused on financial derivatives and securities, and the way they are transforming capitalist economies. His research covers how derivatives change theories of value, and how financial markets are impacting on households, shifting risk and changing our understanding of capitalist class relations. He also monitors economic policy debates in Australia.
