Diane's PhD research focuses on junior mining companies and how they contemplate their social responsibilities and implement it in their activities.
She has over twenty years' experience across the government and mining sectors working predominantly in environmental impact assessment and permitting, operational environmental management and government affairs functions.
While in the mining sector, Diane has worked with exploration and junior explorers and multi-national mining companies in North and South America, Europe, Africa and Australia. She currently works part-time with a global mining consulting company on social and environment due diligence of mining projects for financial institutions.
