Devin Leigh is a historian of the early-modern Atlantic World who focuses on connections between the Caribbean, West Africa, and Great Britain in the eighteenth century. He currently teaches African History at the University of San Francisco and Global Studies at the University of California, Berkeley. His research has appeared in a number of academic journals, including the William and Mary Quarterly, Slavery & Abolition, and the CLR James Journal.
