Dr. Dev K. Boojihawon is an accomplished scholar, award-winning educator, and thought leader in strategy and international business. Currently an Associate Professor at Birmingham Business School, University of Birmingham, UK, he is recognised for his innovative research, impactful publications, and commitment to advancing sustainability and resilience in global business practices. Dr. Boojihawon earned his PhD from the University of Strathclyde and is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA).
Dr. Boojihawon’s research bridges critical issues in sustainability, resilience, and business growth, with a particular focus on African contexts and global value chains and a specialist interest in Mauritius. His work delves into leadership and governance strategies for embedding sustainability, achieving Net Zero objectives, and addressing Scope 3 emissions. His current projects explore transformative solutions for UK SMEs and multinational enterprises to thrive in a rapidly changing global landscape.
