Dennis Murphy is a PhD candidate at Georgia Tech working with Professor Jon Lindsay. His research focuses on the intersection of emerging technologies, AI, China studies, history, and strategic competition. He holds master's degrees in strategic studies from Johns Hopkins SAIS and in Chinese politics and foreign policy from Tsinghua University. He is also a Hans J. Morgenthau Predoctoral Fellow at Notre Dame’s International Security Center, a former Research Associate at the Center for Global Security Research at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, and a Graduate Student Research Fellow at the Georgia Tech Research Institute.
