- Doctoral researcher, Alfred Wegener Institute Helmholtz Centre for Polar and Marine Research
My work focuses on Arctic coastal dynamics, with an emphasis on permafrost research, climate change impacts, and community-based environmental management. I integrate bathymetric mapping, UAVs, and LiDAR with traditional knowledge to assess coastal flooding risks and protect cultural heritage sites along the Yukon coast. By fostering respectful collaboration with Indigenous communities and leveraging interdisciplinary approaches, my research prioritizes equitable knowledge co-production to develop adaptive strategies and contribute to inclusive, impactful advancements in polar science.
