Delia Falconer

Dr Delia Falconer is the author of two novels (The Service of Clouds and The Lost Thoughts of Soldiers) and two works of nonfiction (Sydney and Signs and Wonders). Her books have been nominated for national and international awards across the fields of fiction, nonfiction, biography, history, and innovation including the Miles Franklin Award and Commonwealth Writers' Prize (Asia Pacific Division), with Sydney and Signs and Wonders both earning a CAL Waverley Llibrary (Nib) Award for research and literary excellence. Her short stories and essays have been widely anthologised in publications such as the Penguin Century of Australian Stories and the Macquarie PEN Anthology of Australian Literature. She was awarded a 2018 Walkley Award for her criticism.
