Deepro Roy

Currently a PhD candidate at the Centre for the Study of Theory and Criticism, Deepro Roy works on the embattled question of an Asian modernity. He is working on a project gathering some of the most important media practitioners in South Asia and trying to understand the theoretical and intellectual production that accompanies their interventions in the evolving media ecosystem in South Asia. He has worked closely on various projects and with various organisations at the cutting edge of imagining the future of Indian media and cinema.
