- Senior Research Officer, Burnet Institute
Dr Debra ten Brink completed her Master of Public Health at Imperial College London with a focus on global health and health economics after completing her medical degree.
Before joining the Burnet Institute, she was a consultant for the WHO's Global Malaria Programme involved in identifying methods to include cost-effectiveness and value for money in the evaluation of new preventive measures for malaria.
Debra now works with the Optima Consortium for Decision Science within the Burnet Institute to support cost-effective decision-making in global health. She works primarily with allocative efficiency models for HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, malaria, nutrition, and maternal and child health, that have been applied in over 50 countries globally.
