David Whyte is Professor of Climate Justice at Queen Mary University of London where he is the Director of the Centre for Climate Crime and Climate Justice. His research focusses on the relationship between law and corporate power. He has researched the regulation of business in a wide range of contexts, including working conditions, institutional fraud and corruption, economies of war and conflict and ecological breakdown. His books include How Corrupt is Britain? (2015, Pluto Press), The Violence of Austerity (2017, Pluto Press with Vickie Cooper) and Ecocide: kill the corporation before it kills us (2021, Manchester University Press)
